Boy, there’s so much I want to do with Bloodline, but my schedule needs work. I’m behind my expectations, and I’ve got some catching up to do.
… they are taking this better than I would expect, and wow, you ain’t the first Bernin.
Also, NOT mentioning other family members in here right now are you.
Since Bernin and Ember aren’t the first known cases do they have some kind of procedure for Tennin with demon blood already set? Though if they are worried about Demon blood spreading in the lands like the healer went to (Elane?) what do they do to prevent its spread? I’m hoping it isn’t some sort of mandatory sterilization on those with demon blood.
Since they seem to have taken this part well, but how are they going to take the part that Veera is going to kill anyone he is close to just to send a message that they want to “test” if his bloodline is still strong? That of Bernin can just lie and say it Veera is just from a rival clan, with some sort of blood feud.
Also it is kind of good that Hillel isn’t around or he’ll have all this recorded, and chances are will come to the attention of the council. Though Cormac, Sil, or Callum might tell their superiors if they feel it to be necessary, but I kind of doubt they would.
Just what exactly is meant by Tennin, would be nice to find out more about such stuff.
You know I am wondering why is Bernin shirtless? Sil was wearing a hospital gown, so they do have those, and unlike Callum he didn’t need any bandages.
Speaking of Callum why didn’t they give him a hospital gown after they bandaged him up? Are all male patients shirtless here in the hospital?
I feel that this calls for an extrapolation of Occam’s razor: “Any entity not referenced by observable phenomena does not exist.”
…
PAAAAAAANTS!!!
…
They have to rip people’s clothes off to treat injuries, the staff probably don’t much care so long as they are not tyring to maintain a sterile environment. Which, given how much of a pain sterile environments are with hair involved, they probably have ridiculous all-covering uniforms for dealing with wounds that resist purification magic or maintain immaculately groomed coats, probably both…
But I expect Callum is just sans-shirt for the ease of dealing with his splint while he doesn’t need to be presentable. And Bernin is shirt-phobic. Probably due to some belief that if ever you chest-floof is covered, it becomes corrupted by darkness.
