DO NOT annoy Lady Lupa!
^ Seconded!
Panel 4: Lupa appears to be having a heart attack, rather than showing off how angry she is.
You know either Lupa has a way to mask her demon presence or she just teleported here. As we know Readers do have a range of a few miles and any reader in town or a nearby patrol will most definitely have sensed a demon of Lupa’s caliber before she is able to approach the town. I don’t think Lupa is here to attack the town as her role is primarily defensive in Brairwood. Still those red eyes give her away to even to non-readers if they see them.
To be honest I was expecting Echo to be the one to expose Risaac, but Lupa that is both good and bad. I wonder if Lupa can dispel whatever is preventing any readers from detecting Risaac? Also where is Echo in all this? Perhaps keeping the guards distracted as we haven’t seen him make his reappearance yet. Ember hasn’t quite agree to stay with Lupa’s pack yet so calling her your pup (I assume) is a bit jumping the gun. Good thing Risaac wasn’t saying all those things last page out loud because if Lupa heard that he probably wouldn’t have a head anymore.
Keine is lupa’s son, she’s probably referring to him instead of Ember.
wait what does she mean by “my pup”?
Keine is her son. He’s with ember right now, so by targeting ember that guy is also targeting her son.
Panel 2: Powerful, beautiful
Panels 3 & 4: Oh, full feral now I see
Panel 6: Don’t piss off Mama Bear- er, Mama Wolf.
Keine is lupa’s son.
Seeing Lupa in the second and third panels, I now know why her kind are referred to as ferals.
Oops. I meant 3rd and 4th panels. (Although she looks rather feral in the 2nd panel.)
I started reading yesterday. I’m caught up now. Tee progression of the art style is superb and the story is gripping. Cant wait to read more.
“Lupa possesses a pendant with an unusually strong enchantment, but it’s uncertain whether it serves any purpose other than preserving a family heirloom.”
Or maybe taking her off the radar of any readers within range…
😮
