So the librarian found out about Ember’s magic struggle, and relayed it to Elane, and that information reached Denrim. At least Elane knew Ember was kind of upset that she was unable to really defend herself from Denrim’s curse. I do believe Elane is being sincere to Ember. So maybe Elane might make Ember her understudy so Ember would have a reason to not leave Tenguard, and Elane can keep an eye on Ember. That is a lot better then making the false promise of removing her demon side I assumed she was going to do in the first place.
However, it still seems a bit odd that Creed would know that Ember wasn’t proficient with magic. Sure Ember seemed like a kid in a candy store when she laid eyes on the selection of books, and fascinated with all the books on magic, but I just don’t see how Creed would have been able to know that Ember is was unable to cast any spells just from that reaction. Unless he is one of the Voices hidden agents, but I kind of doubt that. Perhaps when they bring the book back to Creed, he might explain how he deduced that Ember was unable to cast spells. After all this library apparently doesn’t allow check outs.
Yaya update!
Also our little blue wolf seems to be a natural.
^-^
Ah, Ember needs to get the book of Neutral Magic Spells that Scale Well.
How does she know!? How does she know that Ember has a spell casting condition!?

What a lame library.
