She’s been fighting for control, not ownership.
this is something else
So, Ember realizes she no longer wants to fight to escape her demon heritage, she wants to fight to protect others. Her empathy is what motivated her to reject the Voice in the first place, so it makes sense it would lead her here.
Its going to be interesting to see where Ember goes with this. Considering how she got here and what the Voice is telling her here.
But will this sudden insight have an effect on the Fiend? Well, I suppose Ember still has that weird soul that eats magic she can fall back on.
