The dramatic expressions are all so good on this page! Tavara at least has the disadvantage of not using lethal force against Bernin, if she’s rational enough to take that seriously.
Ramiel magically pulling the sword fragments out of his body must be painful. That’s quite an unusual fighting technique Veera developed. It must have taken a lot of training, so I guess that answers my previous question about her weapon choice. She was already an expert with this weapon but did not bring it with her when delivering her first message to Bernin because she didn’t need it. She brought it on this mission because she takes Ramiel much more seriously.
