Tavara doesn’t get to kill Bernin, but Sil is fair game. Veera got to, Tavara wants a turn as well.
Bernin’s experience with dispelling is entirely in blocking projectiles, he is a very offensive caster. Sil has had formal training, is and much more well rounded.

The battles that were supposed to be separate impeach on each other’s space, cutting off Tavara’s retreat. Is Veera having a hard time with Ramiel? It can be hard to tell with her composure.
